Frame Story for Folk Tales

Due by 11:00pm Thrusday, February 24, 1994

Connect your folk tale to three tales by other students. Create transitions from your tale to the others using the "Frame" story in the Dret-Introduction (featuring Drs. Saterdan and Rubins).

• If you haven't already done so, create a link from the Motif number in your Tale to your StithThompson File.
• At the bottom of your file, type the names of the three stories you will link to (use the titles as they appear in the colored "Bottle" files under Dret Lore). Link each of these to a new file and write a transition between your tale and the tale you are linking to.
• Send me mail with the titles you have chosen to link to.
• Use the Heading 3 Style for the text in the transitional file.
• Click on Dret Lore (also on the Honors 102 Page) to see the Introduction to the Frame Tale.
• On your Name Page, create links to your Frame files named "Frame Tale 1," "Frame Tale 2" and "Frame Tale 3" (see my Name Page for examples).
