The imitations of the Belle Dame sans Mercy in Qq were discussed by Piaget. The manuscript was also included in the bibliographies of the Livre des Quatre Dames, the Debat des Deux Fortunés d'Amours, the Belle Dame sans Mercy and the Breviaire des Nobles. Qq was used in the edition of the four poems and was found to be individual and irregular. Only one of the texts in Qq is complete. In its text of the Debat de Reveille Matin, Qq resembles Oa and Qo. The other three texts which were examined were found to be in the same tradition as Nf and Nj but to be of much poorer quality. Where the Complainte and the Lay de Paix are concerned, Qq and Nb are very similar. -- End --
