Piaget discussed the imitations of the Belle Dame sans Mercy in Pl and included the manuscript in his bibiography of the poem itself. Pl has not been listed elsewhere. The texts in Pl are of reasonable quality but seem not to have been revised. Pl resembles Qr where the Lay de Paix is concerned; it is difficult to relate the text of the Debat de Reveille Matin to any other text very closely. Readings peculiar to Pl, infrequent in the Lay de Paix, occur more frequently in the Debat de Reveille Matin. The latter poem includes a number of irregular lines, as do the Belle Dame sans Mercy and the Breviaire des Nobles. -- End --
